General Information

Rim Locks (Surface Mounted Locks) are designed to be fitted to the opening face of the door (the side you pull to open) and should only be used with suitable Rim Knob Furniture (or Mortice Knob Furniture in the case of our Wooden Box Locks).

Note that these Locks are designed for decorative purposes and are not intended to be used as security products. Additional Locks should be considered on external doors or where a greater degree of security is required.
