Black Antique Iron Hook & Band Hinge Ref: 03-201

Four sizes from 12" to 26" long - heavy Hook & Band Hinge suitable for a variety of door widths. The authentic, antique black wrought iron finish of this hinge will add an Old English, rustic charm to doors around the home.

Hook and Band Hinges (or Hook and Ride Hinges) are a traditional method of hanging heavier ledged doors or gates and are designed so that both the horizontal strap and vertical plate are fully visible on both the opening face of the door and the frame.

As a Rule of Thumb, select a hinge from approx one third to half the door/gate width for light to medium weight applications (eg. pine) and from one half to two thirds the door/gate width for heavier applications (eg. oak) - please do not hesitate to Contact Us if you are in any doubt.
