Black Antique Iron Rim Lock Ref: 21-201

One of our best selling products. This beautifully crafted high quality Rim Lock makes an impressive feature on any internal or external door. The authentic, antique black wrought iron finish of this rim lock will add an Old English, rustic charm to doors around the home.

Rim Locks are those that are surface mounted on to the door face (on the opening side) and are normally fitted to doors that are not thick enough to accept a mortice lock or where such a lock would be impractical.

Note - this Lock is intended for use as a decorative feature and should not be used as a security product. For doors that require a high level of security additional locks should be considered.

Body - 4 3/4" x 4" (120mm x 101mm)
Frame Keep - 4" x 5/8" (101mm x 15mm)
Follower Backset - 3 3/4" (95mm) - this is the measurement from the edge of the door to the centre of the handle hole

Latch Body and Frame Keep in Black Antique finish to match our Rim Door Knob Furniture. Note: Knobs are not included and should be ordered separately.
