Our most popular Suffolk Thumb Latch by far, with Privacy function. This allows the Latch Bar to be held down so that it cannot be operated via the Latch Handle. This is most commonly used on Bathroom and Bedroom doors where a degree of privacy is required. It is sometimes beneficial to drill right through the door where the Privacy Pin engages so that it can be pushed clear from the opposite side in the event of an emergency.
