Black Steel Privacy Rim Door Lock Ref: 21-9021

This traditional pattern steel Privacy Rim Lock is an excellent choice for internal toilet and bathroom doors.

Rim Locks are those that are surface mounted on to the door face (on the opening side) and are normally fitted to doors that are not thick enough to accept a mortice lock or where such a lock would be impractical.

Suitable for wooden doors up to 50mm thick, hinged on the left or right and opening inwards

Size:
Lock Body - 106mm long x 70mm high
Frame Keep - 73mm high x 22mm wide
Follower Backset - 76mm (this is the measurement from the edge of the door to the centre of the handle hole)

Finish:
Lock Body and Frame Keep - Black
(Traditionally this type of lock would have been painted to match the door colour)

Operation:
Latchbolt withdrawn by Door Knob from either side.
Slidebolt is operated from inside only.

This Rim Lock is an excellent choice when used with any of the Rim Door Knobs from our Black Antique or Battel Black cast iron ranges
