Black Steel Rim Door Lock Ref: 21-905

This traditional, heavy pattern steel Rim Lock is an excellent choice for internal doors that require only a limited degree of security.

Rim Locks are those that are surface mounted on to the door face (on the opening side) and are normally fitted to doors that are not thick enough to accept a mortice lock or where such a lock would be impractical.

Suitable for wooden doors up to 50mm thick and opening inwards - please state handing when ordering

Size:
Lock Body - 155mm long x 106mm high
Frame Keep - 106mm high x 28mm wide
Key Backset - 53mm (this is the measurement from the edge of the door to the centre of the keyway)
Follower Backset - 120mm (this is the measurement from the edge of the door to the centre of the handle hole)

Finish:
Lock Body and Frame Keep - Black
(Traditionally this type of lock would have been painted to match the door colour)

Operation:
Latchbolt withdrawn by Door Knob from either side.
Deadbolt is locked or unlocked by key from either side.
