General Information

These Cranked Pattern Hook & Band Hinges should only be fitted to doors that are flush with the frame on the opening face.

The following "rule of thumb" can be used to select the correct size Hook & Band Hinge for your door:
For light to medium weight doors (eg. Pine) select a hinge approx one third to half the door width.
For heavier doors (eg. Oak) select a hinge approx half to two thirds the door width.

Hook and Band Hinges are traditionaly measured from end to end of the horizontal strap (the Band). Our Hook and Band Hinges are hand made and as such all measurements given are approximate only.

All of our Hook & Band Hinges are priced in Pairs (2 hinges) complete with all neccessary fixing screws.
