This traditional pattern Cast Iron Parliament Hinge can be used where doors, windows or shutters are required to open a full 180 degrees. These Hinges are designed to allow adequate clearance of architraves, window boards and down pipes etc.

4" High x 8" Open Width (102mm x 203mm)
6" Projection (152mm) when fully open (this is the distance between the legs and is the maximum projection achievable when the door is open to 180 degrees)

Suitable for doors up to 20kg based on three Hinges per door leaf - Light Duty applications only.

Whilst Cast Iron Hinges are normally recommended for Internal use, they can be used externally if properly maintained - many original examples can still be seen today on external window shutters for example.

Our Cast Iron Parliament Hinges are supplied "dry" and should be lubricated immediately after fitting and periodically thereafter.
