The unique cut out section at the back of the body is designed to accept the 8mm Square Spindle supplied with Door Knobs and Lever Handles so that they can be Fixed Dead (so they cannot turn).

Mortice Roller Catches are those that are concealed within the door edge to provide a latching action on doors that are simply pushed or pulled to open and shut.
