Rawnsley Black Iron Octagonal Door Knob Ref: 32/33-2151

These impressive Octagonal pattern Door Knobs are manufactured to an original pattern dating from 1876 and look great on external entrance doors. The black cast iron finish of these door knobs will add an authentic Victorian charm to any home and is an excellent choice where a more decorative look is required.

Mortice application Door Knobs are designed to suit locks or latches concealed (morticed) within the edge of the door

Rim application Door Knobs and are designed to suit locks or latches that are mounted on to the face of the door (generally refered to as Rim Locks or Rim Latches)

Important: For Mortice applications we would always recommend a suitable lock or latch with a minimum backset measurement of 57mm to avoid rapping your knuckles on the door frame. This is the measurement from the edge of the door to the centre of the knob when fitted. You should consider increasing this measurement when fitting larger knob diameters or where the frame stop is greater than the normal 12mm.
