At a time when people are becoming more concerned and conscious of their Carbon Footprint, the traditional Ceiling Airer is the perfect alternative to the electric tumble dryer.

Our "energy saving" Clothes Racks use the original curved shape cast iron rack ends - part of the British household for over 100 years. Makes economic use of ceiling space with warm air rising to dry clothes in no time at all.

Sometimes called a "Winter Hedge" the units can also be used for the drying of herbs and flowers etc. Use in the kitchen, utility room, laundry room, tack room or attic.

Our Ceiling Clothes Airers are supplied in Sets complete with Rack Ends, Redwood Laths, Pulleys, Cleat Hooks, Best Quality Cord and Full Fixing Instructions.

A new addition to our range and perfect for the larger family, this Ceiling Clothes Airer features 6 laths rather than the normal 4. The black cast iron and natural wood finish of this clothes rack will add an authentic period charm to any home.

Rack End dimensions 22 1/4" x 5 1/2" (565mm x 140mm)

Our Ceiling Clothes Airers are available in Six standard lengths and with the option of either nylon or cast iron pulley wheels.

Standard Pulleys are Cast Iron with White Moulded Nylon Wheels - Cast Iron Pulleys with Cast Wheels are also available as an upgrade to the standard kit

Optional Extras:
Short on Space? An additional Double Pulley can be used to extend the rope along the ceiling allowing it to be run down the wall - see product below

Our 4" (100mm) S Hooks have been specifically designed to fit over our shaped Laths - see product below
