Traditional Cylinder Rim Nightlatch Ref: 22-9011

Rim Nightlatches (commonly referred to as "Yale Locks" or "Slam Locks") are normally fitted to front entrance doors. This traditional nightlatch pattern has been in existance for over 100 years and is ideal for situations that require the convenience of a latching mechanism without compromising the period feel of a door.

Silver Enamel finish with Brass external key cylinder

Suitable for wooden doors 35mm to 65mm thick hinged on the left or right and opening inwards

Size:
Latch Body - 92mm long x 68mm high
Frame Keep - 68mm high x 25mm wide
Backset - 60mm (this is the measurement from the edge of the door to the centre of the keyway)

Operation:
Latchbolt withdrawn by key outside and knob inside.
The bolt may be held in the locked or withdrawn position by operating the snib.

Note: Entrance doors fitted with this type of Nightlatch are normally also fitted with a 5 Lever Mortice Deadlock to BS3621 to comply with the requirements of most insurance companies
